Peria - the Broken Realm

Peria - the Broken Realm - is a once-good world.

Long ago, she experienced cataclysmic upheaval and destruction at the hands of the Breaker. During the Breaking, her continents were shattered, her lands were burned and drowned, and her seas and skies were poisoned.

Her people - Watchers, Deeps, and Dancers, were twisted and turned monstrous, along with most of her lesser beasts, birds, and fish. The three guardian draconic spirits that had watched over her from before the dawn of memory could do nothing. One resisted, one fled, and one joined with the Breaker.

Failing in his attempt to remake this world to his own ideals, the Breaker abandoned his ruination as a child abandons a discarded and broken toy.

Since then, Peria has not been forgotten, for the Maker has sent his agent to heal and restore the Broken Realm to its former splendor and goodness.
